How we earn money

InternetNetherlands.nl is a comparison and information site. It is not an internet provider and it does not sell a connection.

Plan buttons leave this site through an affiliate link. If you continue from there and take out a plan, we may earn a commission. That commission is paid via the partner. It does not change the published prices in euros, the contract length or the advertised speed, and it does not change how this page sorts plans.

The link is filtered around that plan's download speed. You enter your postcode and house number on the next page.

We check the providers' own websites for these prices, and we keep checking them. USD and GBP are conversions for reading. The provider still charges euros.

Solcon Internet – Plans & Prices

This page helps you decide whether Solcon is worth checking for your home internet. Solcon offers a connection over fibre or DSL, with speeds up to 2 Gbit/s on its internet-only page. Its fibre page lists fibre from €44.99 a month, with advertised speeds from 100 Mbps to 1,000 Mbps. Your actual price only appears once you enter your postcode on Solcon's website.

Prices on the provider's website

Solcon does not publish a price list without an address. The internet-only page says the connection is fibre or DSL, with speeds up to 2 Gbit/s, and the price appears after a postcode check. On Solcon’s fibre page, fibre is described as starting from €44.99 a month, with advertised speeds from 100 Mbps to 1,000 Mbps. Those two speed ceilings are both on Solcon’s own pages. Nothing here is added to the sortable comparison.

Customer service phone published by Solcon: 088 003 22 22.

Source: Solcon internet-only page. We check provider prices every day. In the sortable comparison, Check offer is an advertisement. If you sign up from there, we may earn a commission. That does not change the euro price or the sort order.

Is Solcon a good fit for your connection?

Solcon suits households that want a fibre or DSL line from a single provider and are happy to confirm details for their own address before seeing a price. The internet-only page describes the connection as fibre or DSL, so the technology you receive depends on what is installed in your street. If your home has fibre, Solcon's fibre page gives a starting price and a speed range. If only a copper line is available, DSL is the route. Before you go further, it helps to know which network reaches your building, because that shapes both the speed and the cost you can expect.

What Solcon publishes about its prices

Solcon does not publish a full price list without an address. The one figure on its own pages is that fibre starts from €44.99 a month. Any other monthly amount appears only after a postcode check on Solcon's website, so we do not list further prices here and we do not guess at a range. The starting figure is useful as a benchmark, but your quote could differ depending on the speed you choose and where you live. For background on what shapes a monthly bill, see our guide to what home internet costs.

Two speed ceilings on Solcon's own pages

Solcon's pages show two speed ceilings. The internet-only page mentions speeds up to 2 Gbit/s across its fibre and DSL connection. The fibre page advertises speeds from 100 Mbps to 1,000 Mbps. Both statements come from Solcon itself, so check which applies at your address when you run the postcode check. Fibre usually offers faster and more even upload speeds than copper. To understand the differences, read our overview of fibre connections or our explainer on DSL over the phone line.

Postcode check, contact details and our comparison

Because Solcon's prices depend on the address, the quickest step is its postcode check, or you can call Solcon on 088 003 22 22. Solcon is not part of our sortable comparison, which covers other providers. In that comparison we check prices on the providers' own websites every day, and you can order plans by download speed, introductory price or average monthly price. The Check offer button is an advertisement. If you sign up, we might earn a commission, which never changes the euro price or the sort order. Start from our overview of internet providers netherlands.
