How we earn money

InternetNetherlands.nl is a comparison and information site. It is not an internet provider and it does not sell a connection.

Plan buttons leave this site through an affiliate link. If you continue from there and take out a plan, we may earn a commission. That commission is paid via the partner. It does not change the published prices in euros, the contract length or the advertised speed, and it does not change how this page sorts plans.

The link is filtered around that plan's download speed. You enter your postcode and house number on the next page.

We check the providers' own websites for these prices, and we keep checking them. USD and GBP are conversions for reading. The provider still charges euros.

2. What we process

  • Technical connection data that the host needs to deliver the pages, such as IP address, time and requested URL
  • Messages you send if you email or call us
  • Cookie choices stored in your browser after you use the cookie banner or the cookies page

3. What we do not collect here

The comparison does not ask for your address. Filters and currency stay in the page while you use it and are not written into the URL. The address check happens on the next page after you follow a plan button. We do not run a user account on this site.

4. Legal bases

Hosting and necessary storage are processed to provide the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you contact us, we use the details to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Optional analytics or marketing cookies are only used if you switch them on (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw that choice at any time on the cookies page.

5. Cookies

Necessary storage remembers your cookie choice. Optional categories stay off unless you accept them. Details and the on/off switches are on the cookies page.

6. Recipients and hosting

We do not sell personal information. A hosting provider processes the connection data needed to deliver the pages. If you follow an affiliate link, the site you land on and the tracking partner apply their own privacy notices. The operator is established outside the EU; if data is transferred, we limit it to what is needed to run or answer the site.

7. Retention

Server logs are kept only as long as the host needs them for security and delivery. Emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request. Cookie choices stay in your browser until you change or clear them.

8. Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or a copy of your data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority — in the Netherlands typically the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP).
