What This Page Covers
This page focuses on the budget end of the market. Our comparison currently holds 65 plans, with introductory prices from €15 to €51 and average monthly prices from €20 to €57.25. Here we look closely at the cheapest rows so you can see which connection types, speeds and contract terms sit at the bottom of the price range. If you want a broader view of the market, you can start from our overview of internet providers netherlands, or read our guide to what home internet costs each month.
Price and Speed at the Budget End
The cheapest rows are mostly DSL. Youfone offers 50 Mbit/s down and 8 Mbit/s up from an introductory €15, with an average of €20 or €21.25 per month depending on contract length. Its 100 Mbit/s DSL plan, with 10 Mbit/s up, starts at €16.25 and averages €21.67 or €23.02. hollandsnieuwe offers cable at 100 Mbit/s down and 25 Mbit/s up from €17.5, averaging €26.25. Paying a little more often brings faster upload speeds. See the Youfone provider page for detail, or explore fibre connections if speed matters more.

Contract Length and the Average Price
Contracts in these rows run for 12 or 24 months. The introductory price is the same for both terms, but the average monthly price can differ. For Youfone, the 24-month version of each plan averages slightly more than the 12-month version, for example €21.25 against €20 at 50 Mbit/s. For hollandsnieuwe, both terms average €26.25. The average monthly price spreads the discounted months and the regular price across the whole contract, so it is usually the fairer figure for comparing what you will actually pay over time.
Your Address Decides Availability
A low price only helps if the plan is offered where you live. Whether you can get DSL, cable or fibre depends on the network at your address, and the speed you receive on DSL can also depend on your distance from the exchange. Two neighbouring streets may have different options. Always enter your postcode and house number with a provider before deciding. If you only need a connection without extras, our page on internet-only plans explains what to look for, and the Budget Thuis provider page shows another lower-cost option.
How We Compare Plans
We check prices on the providers' own websites every day, so the figures in our comparison reflect what each provider currently advertises. You can sort the comparison by download speed, introductory price or average monthly price, depending on what matters most to you. We do not pick a winner, because the right plan depends on your address, usage and budget.
The Check offer button is an advertisement. If you sign up through it, we may earn a commission. That commission never changes the euro price you pay or the order in which plans are sorted.
