How we earn money

InternetNetherlands.nl is a comparison and information site. It is not an internet provider and it does not sell a connection.

Plan buttons leave this site through an affiliate link. If you continue from there and take out a plan, we may earn a commission. That commission is paid via the partner. It does not change the published prices in euros, the contract length or the advertised speed, and it does not change how this page sorts plans.

The link is filtered around that plan's download speed. You enter your postcode and house number on the next page.

We check the providers' own websites for these prices, and we keep checking them. USD and GBP are conversions for reading. The provider still charges euros.

5G Home Internet in the Netherlands

5G home internet sends your connection over the mobile network to a router in your home, so no cable or fibre line is needed. Our comparison currently lists one 5G home plan, offered by Odido. This page sets out its price, speed and contract length, explains why your address matters, and describes how we check and present the figures.

Who 5G home internet suits

5G home internet can make sense when a fixed line is slow, unavailable or simply not worth the wait for installation. It also suits people who want flexibility, such as those moving soon or living somewhere for a short period. If you only need a connection for a limited time, our guide to short-term internet options covers other routes too. If your street already has a fixed connection, it is worth weighing this option against fibre broadband plans before you decide, because each type of connection behaves differently in daily use.

The 5G plan in figures

The single 5G plan in our comparison comes from Odido home internet. It costs €26 a month at the introductory price, and the average monthly price over the contract is also €26, so there is no later price step to factor in. The listed download speed is 300 Mbps and the upload speed is 30 Mbps. That upload figure matters for video calls, cloud backups and sending large files. To judge whether these speeds fit your household, see our explanation of how much speed you need.

A one-month contract term

The 5G plan listed here runs on a one-month contract. That means you are not tied in for a long period and can stop relatively quickly if the connection does not meet your needs or your circumstances change. Because the introductory and average monthly prices are both €26, the short term does not come with a higher average cost in our figures. Still, read the provider's own terms before signing up, as details such as router arrangements or one-off fees are set by the provider and can affect what you pay overall.

Why your address shapes the result

Whether 5G home internet is available, and how well it performs, depends on your exact address. Mobile coverage varies from street to street and even between floors of a building, and nearby masts, walls and network load all play a part. The 300 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload figures are the listed speeds, not a guarantee for every home. Enter your postcode and house number when checking an offer so the provider can confirm what is possible at your location before you commit to anything.

How we gather and present the figures

We check prices on the providers' own websites every day, so the figures here reflect what is currently advertised. Our sortable comparison lets you order plans by download speed, introductory price or average monthly price, depending on what matters most to you. A Check offer button is an advertisement: if you sign up through it, we may earn a commission. That commission never changes the euro price you pay or the order in which plans appear.
