How we earn money

InternetNetherlands.nl is a comparison and information site. It is not an internet provider and it does not sell a connection.

Plan buttons leave this site through an affiliate link. If you continue from there and take out a plan, we may earn a commission. That commission is paid via the partner. It does not change the published prices in euros, the contract length or the advertised speed, and it does not change how this page sorts plans.

The link is filtered around that plan's download speed. You enter your postcode and house number on the next page.

We check the providers' own websites for these prices, and we keep checking them. USD and GBP are conversions for reading. The provider still charges euros.

Online.nl Internet – Plans & Prices

This page helps you decide whether Online.nl suits your home. It sets out the four plans Online.nl publishes on its own internet page: one DSL plan and three fibre plans from 100 Mbps to 500 Mbps. These prices sit outside our sortable comparison, so there is no Check offer button for them, and what you can actually order depends on your address.

Prices on the provider's website

These prices are published by Online.nl. They are not in the sortable comparison. The fibre prices on the overview are for a 1-year plan on the KPN network. Online.nl says prices on the DELTA network are shown in its address check.

Who Online.nl may suit

Online.nl publishes a short range: a single DSL plan and three fibre plans. If your home already has a fibre connection, the fibre options give equal download and upload speeds, which helps with video calls, cloud backups and sending large files. If fibre has not reached your street, the DSL plan may be the practical route. You can read more about how copper lines work in our guide to DSL connections, or explore fibre broadband explained before deciding. The right choice depends on how many people share the connection and how much they upload.

Published monthly prices

On its overview, Online.nl lists the DSL plan at €50 a month. Fibre 100 costs €31 for the first 9 months, then €51, so the starting price is not the price you pay for the whole term. Fibre 200 is listed at €55 a month and Fibre 500 at €63 a month. When comparing, look past the introductory figure and work out what you will pay once the discount ends. Our page on what home internet costs explains introductory and average monthly prices in more detail.

Speeds on each plan

The DSL plan offers 100 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload. Upload is the figure that matters when you send files or stream yourself, and here it is lower than the download speed. The fibre plans are symmetrical: Fibre 100 gives 100 Mbps both ways, Fibre 200 gives 200 Mbps both ways and Fibre 500 gives 500 Mbps both ways. A single person browsing and streaming may be comfortable on a lower tier, while a busy household with several devices working at once may value the extra headroom of a faster plan.

Contract term and network

Online.nl states that the fibre prices on its overview are for a 1-year plan on the KPN network. It also says that prices on the DELTA network are shown in its address check rather than on the overview, so they may differ from the figures above. The facts available to us do not give a contract term for the DSL plan, so confirm that detail with Online.nl before signing up. Knowing which network serves your home tells you which price list actually applies to you.

Your address and how we compare

Which plans you can order depends on your address, because the network and line type vary from street to street. The Online.nl prices on this page come from the Online.nl internet page and are not part of our sortable comparison. In that comparison, which you can find via internet providers netherlands, prices are checked on the providers' own websites every day, and you can sort by download speed, introductory price or average monthly price. Check offer buttons there are advertisements: we may earn a commission if you sign up, but this never changes the euro price or the sort order.
