What this fibre overview covers
This overview focuses on fibre connections only, the technology that carries data over glass cables right up to your home. It lists 30 fibre plans from Odido, DELTA, KPN, Budget Thuis and Youfone. If you are weighing fibre against other options, you can also read about cable internet plans or DSL connections. For a wider view of every connection type, visit our guide to internet providers netherlands. The aim here is simply to explain what fibre plans tend to cost and offer, without naming any single plan as the best choice for everyone.
Prices and speeds at a glance
Introductory prices for fibre in our comparison range from €20 to €51 per month. Because many offers start with a discount, the average monthly price over the contract is more telling: it runs from €28.33 to €57.25. Download speeds span from 200 Mbps up to 8000 Mbps, so there is a large gap between entry-level and top-tier plans. Higher speeds generally sit towards the upper end of the price range, though the pattern is not strict. To work out how much speed your household really needs, see our guide to internet speed.

Contract lengths
Contract terms in the fibre market split evenly. Of the 30 plans, 15 run for 12 months and 15 run for 24 months. A shorter term gives you the freedom to switch sooner if a better deal appears or your needs change. A longer term can come with a lower introductory price or extra discounted months, which may bring the average monthly cost down. When comparing, look at the average monthly price across the whole term rather than the first bill alone, and check what the price becomes once any promotional period ends.
Your address decides availability
Fibre is not available on every street. Whether you can get a plan depends on whether a fibre network has been laid to your building and which providers offer service over it. Two neighbouring homes can have different options. That is why the most reliable step is to enter your postcode and house number before choosing. Providers such as KPN fibre plans, Odido and DELTA internet each serve different areas, so the list of plans you see may be shorter than the full overview of 30.
How we compare plans
Prices are checked on the providers' own websites every day, so the figures you see reflect current offers. You can sort the comparison by download speed, introductory price or average monthly price, depending on what matters most to you. The Check offer button is an advertisement. If you sign up through it, this site may earn a commission. That commission does not change the euro price you pay, and it does not change the sort order of the plans. We do not rank any provider as a winner; the final choice is always yours.
