How we earn money

InternetNetherlands.nl is a comparison and information site. It is not an internet provider and it does not sell a connection.

Plan buttons leave this site through an affiliate link. If you continue from there and take out a plan, we may earn a commission. That commission is paid via the partner. It does not change the published prices in euros, the contract length or the advertised speed, and it does not change how this page sorts plans.

The link is filtered around that plan's download speed. You enter your postcode and house number on the next page.

We check the providers' own websites for these prices, and we keep checking them. USD and GBP are conversions for reading. The provider still charges euros.

Is cable the right choice for you?

Cable internet runs over the coaxial network that many Dutch homes already use for television, so it is often available without new wiring. The question this page answers is simple: does a cable plan give you the speed you need at a price you are happy to pay? We list 18 cable plans from Ziggo, DELTA and hollandsnieuwe. If you are weighing cable against other connections, our guide to fibre plans and the wider overview of internet providers netherlands help you compare like with like.

Cable prices and speeds in numbers

Introductory prices for cable plans range from €17.50 to €34.95 a month. Because introductory discounts end, the average monthly price over the contract is a fairer measure, and that runs from €26.25 to €47.50.

Download speeds start at 100 Mbps and reach 2000 Mbps, while upload speeds range from 25 Mbps to 300 Mbps. Upload matters if you send large files or make frequent video calls. Not sure how much speed your household uses? Our explanation of internet speed can help you avoid paying for more than you need.

Choosing between one-year and two-year contracts

The cable plans are split evenly by contract length: 9 plans run for 12 months and 9 run for 24 months. A shorter contract gives you the freedom to switch sooner if prices change or a faster option reaches your street. A longer contract can sometimes come with a lower introductory price, but you commit for twice as long. Compare the average monthly price rather than the first-month figure, because it shows what you actually pay across the whole term, including any months after the discount ends.

Availability starts with your address

Cable coverage differs from one street to the next, and sometimes between buildings on the same street. A plan that appears in a national overview may not be offered at your home, and the speeds available can vary too. Enter your postcode and house number in our comparison to see which cable plans can actually be delivered to your address. That way you only compare plans you can order, and you avoid choosing an offer that turns out to be unavailable once you reach the provider's checkout.

How our comparison works

We check the prices on each provider's own website every day, so the figures you see reflect current offers. You can sort the comparison by download speed, introductory price or average monthly price, depending on what matters most to you. We do not pick a winner; the order is yours to choose.

The Check offer button is an advertisement. If you sign up through it, we may earn a commission. That commission never changes the euro price you pay or the order in which plans are sorted.
